About me!

Notes about the author + maintainer of this site

Me!

My name is Jason, I'm just a Linux Software, with a long career in software development and systems administration. Making + hosting a site is easy, and remembering things is sometimes hard so I decided to just collect what I learned about 3d printing and publish it here.

I am NO authority on 3d printing, and I am publishing this in the hopes that it can be useful for other people and that other people can help correct and guide me with suggestions and corrections to make the most of it.

I've been keen on getting a Printer, to mess with, to learn with, and to help inspire some hands on CAD/CAM engineering with my kids. Having free access to the tools is the easiest way to spark interested IMHO.

Keeping notes, and pointers here, to share with them and anyone else starting out, will hopefully help all. A rising tide of quality information raises all ships, etc. etc.

Anyway, enough about me. If you stumble upon this site early, know that it will eventually have a github repo behind it, and I will welcome pull requests with additional info and corrections. I'll add the links when it's ready.

Privacy

If you pay attention such things, I am using a self-hosted, privacy aware page tracker, mostly out of interest about where the most interesting pages on my site live. I don't collect anything personally identifable, nor do I share anything I collected with anyone besides any authors and my immediate family. I won't even be upset if you disable it!
